Vinehall's excellent catering operation is managed in-house by the Domestic Bursar, under the leadership of the Chef Manager. All food is produced from the best ingredients, freshly cooked and served by a committed and well-supported catering team.

School children of today are discerning customers and very familiar with an enormous variety of cooking styles and "eating experiences." As a school, we recognise the importance of meeting their expectations, whilst providing a nutritionally balanced menu.
Over recent years many government reports and high profile celebrity chefs(!) have highlighted the importance of a healthy diet. It is increasingly clear that a balanced diet is especially important during childhood and teenage years. The importance of a balanced diet for growing children cannot be overstated. An adequate intake of food energy and nutrients, together with a reduction in fat and sugar intake, is the key to ensuring both current and future good health.
It is the policy at Vinehall to offer a balanced and nutritious menu to all pupils, to provide information on the importance of good nutrition and to promote and encourage pupils to adopt a healthy diet. Special diets are particularly well catered for.
