Special features of the school include its purpose-built Pre-Prep and theatre, the wonderful library/teaching and learning centre, the magnificent resources for sports and the range and quality of instrumental tuition.

English Speaking Board examinations and a huge number of concerts, plays and performance opportunities mark the school out. An annual General Knowledge competition involves all the children and culminates in a University Challenge-style final. Rewards such as the weekly form trophy, termly House and dorm prizes and special weekly tea for children with a good number of House points encourage the children positively. The atmosphere is busy and the school’s termly calendar is packed with events to encourage participation.
