Welcome to the Vinehall School website, which I am sure you will find interesting and a useful snapshot of life here.

I am very pleased indeed to have been appointed as the Headmaster of Vinehall School and have taken up my post as from January 2011.

Vinehall is a co-educational day and boarding school for children aged between 2 and 13, which enjoys wonderful views across the Sussex countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as a most impressive array of facilities.

Children come first at Vinehall. In order to ensure this we rely on staff and parents to work together to create the community which is close, caring and also very busy! We believe that every child is blessed with many talents and it is our purpose and duty to discover these talents and nurture them as best we can. We combine traditional teaching methods and high expectations with a flexible approach, the latest ideas in teaching, as well as facilities which are simply outstanding and a setting which is unrivalled. The staff are dedicated professionals who seek to inspire both in and outside the classroom.

The school ethos is encapsulated in our motto, 'to do our best for the benefit of others'.
